E3 | The Vote: Then & Now

Election Day is a rare moment in the United States, occurring at the presidential level once every four years. 2020 marks the political gauntlet created by a tense, opposing divide in America as Joe Biden and Donald Trump compete for Executive office. In this episode, I explore the pastimes and practice of the voting process beginning with the Puritans in 1630 Massachusetts and fast forward through key historical shifts in the voting process, eventually arriving at the current day. Listen as election officials and voters recant their experience and what their vote symbolizes in today’s modern society.
