E9 | Mary: A Tribute
In this very short and brief episode I celebrate the life and legacy of my grandmother, Mary Lean Johnson Whitlock (b 1937), who died March 30th, 2021. It was a whirlwind, sobering experience to travel to Jackson, Mississippi during the pandemic and to be with my family as we laid her body to rest and said a final goodbye. Honoring her memory, this episode pays tribute to an individual whose deep faith and unending love would always prevail.
